Where does it take place?
After the stoppage of all classroom activities that scheduled the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena by the coronavirus, and make more pleasant the home confinement for alarm status, own Department of Culture has launched the series' classic at home 'in which young artists of the city, made small live performances through the Facebook of the council itself.
Concerts begin on Thursday 19 March and will be at 19pm with cellist Irene Ortega.
After Irene Ortega, will be the turn of the winner recent Reef Mining International Festival of Cante de las Minas, Alejandro Solano, Friday, March 20, trumpeter Juanito Rubio you can see assiduously collaborating with groups like Karmacadabra or Rio Viré, Saturday March 21, and clarinetist José Luis English, a member of among others the Orquesta Nacional de Spain (JONDE) Symphony Orchestra Youth of the Region of Murcia (SORM), the European Philarmonic of Switzerland (Montreux) and Orchestra of the Musical Theater (Basel), Sunday 22 March. More artists will be added in the coming days for this initiative.
Cellist Irene Ortega, first concert. The First Prize in the eighth edition between strings and brass, Irene Ortega has worked with different orchestras and ensembles such as the Orchestra of the Royal Academy of Music (London), Harmony Chamber Orchestra (Italy), Orchestra Philharmonia (Madrid) or the London Sinfonietta. He has received numerous awards and performed in various countries and renowned halls as Lincoln Center in New York, the McComick Place in Chicago, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Hackney Town Hall in London. He has participated in prestigious international festivals such as The International Holland Music Sessions or Kabelmetal Festival.
The painter and illustrator Clara Ledo has been the creator of the poster of the cycle, with a work created and assigned to the occasion.
