Environmental degradation is advancing around the world. The United Nations group of experts, the Intergovernmental Panel of Experts on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health, warns that we are heading for a major planetary catastrophe. For this reason we must make a change, fundamentally in the relationship between humanity and nature, that is, recognize that we are part of nature, that we depend on it and that we need to live in harmony with the natural environment
Teresa VicenteShe is a tenured professor of Philosophy of Law, deputy director of the Center for Cooperation and Development Studies (CECODE) of the University of Murcia and director of the Chair of Human Rights and Rights of Nature of this university.
Maite Mompó has a law degree, writer, sailor, human rights and environmental activist and specializes in Ecological Ethics, Sustainability and Environmental Education. He currently directs the Stop Ecocide campaign in Spain and the Americas.
