Nicomedes Gómez subjective room of the Palacio Consistorial hosts the exhibition 'CartAfrica', a panoramic view of this continent from Cartagena.
The exhibition captures the essence of the African people, especially that of women.The author seeks to delve into her way of living and thinking; in her ability to sublimate her poverty and lack of resources by designing outfits full of color and vitality; in her ability to hide the drama of her existence behind a continual joy and celebration of community life and love for her children and her neighbors. This can be visited, free of charge, until next September 23
