In addition, we will take a tour of the surroundings of the Interpretation Center to visit La Rambla de Las Matildes and thus learn about the tasks of revegetation and adaptation of the riverbed in the area near the mine. These tasks were carried out to minimize the effects of the floods that run through the boulevard and their consequences of dragging contaminated materials in the form of sludge whose destination would be the Mar Menor.
Lastly, we will visit the tailings pond of an old washing place.
Participants must bring their lunch and water, comfortable clothes and shoes to walk on mountain paths. Low difficulty level.
