DOMUS HALL AT THE PORTICO, MAY 7 TO JUNE 30. "Fragments of the Absurd"
This exhibition brings together 35 paintings that explore the boundaries between reality and imagination, the figurative and the absurd. Through a vibrant aesthetic, saturated with color and fragmentation, the works present scenes that defy visual and narrative logic, populated by dismembered bodies, reconfigured everyday objects, and architectural spaces that fold in on themselves. The works are arranged as parts of a larger, more chaotic system. The repetition of elements and figures in flight generate a symbolic constellation that alludes to both intimate and collective space, the body as a territory of tensions, and the environment as a dislocated stage.
