Everything takes place in Moscow at the beginning of the 20th century. The matriarch of the Petrova family dies and is buried by her own wish with a valuable gold and diamond jewelry box that she inherited from her mother . Shortly afterwards, the music from this jewelry box begins to be heard punctually every night in the living room of the house, at nine forty-three. The eldest daughter of the family, Antonina Petrova, decides to resort to the services of a Spanish parapsychologist renowned throughout Europe and invite her sister Antonina to achieve the reconciliation and eternal rest of her mother. And she sees in the simple parapsychologist an opportunity to recover the jewelry box and thus overcome the delicate economic situation in which she finds herself. A vigilant spirit, an anxious daughter, a manipulative sister, a strategist butler and a wife eaten away by greed will be responsible for a mess that seems to have no possible solution.
