Muhámmad ibn Mardanís is barely a child when he finds himself caught up in a war between the Christian Aragonese and the radical Muslim Almoravids of al-Andalus . Son of the governor of Fraga, he is forced to leave the border town with his family in search of prosperity and a better future.
This historical novel tells the medieval life of Mardanís, “the Wolf King”, narrating the extraordinary life of a child destined to become king.
With a narrative rich in detail and a vibrant context, we follow his journey from childhood to the struggle for power, facing challenges that will test his courage and determination. Francisco González (Cartagena, 1982) completed his studies as a Higher Technician in Telecommunications and after working as a sales manager for fifteen years, he dedicated himself to writing and travelling around Spain with the Camino de Santiago as the main protagonist, with dealing with people being what makes him progress personally and professionally.
This latest work, the historical novel “The Wolf King,” tells of medieval life amid palace intrigues, epic battles, and leadership lessons, in a captivating tale of power, destiny, and the search for identity in turbulent times.
