Extraordinary Concert Between Strings and Brass - Cartagena Symphony Orchestra
The Regional Classical Music Competition for Young Performers of the Region of Murcia ENTRE CUERDAS Y METALES celebrates its traditional Extraordinary Concert, together with the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its principal conductor Leonardo Martínez and a luxury soloist, the oboist Javier Ayala Romero, winner of our competition in the XVII edition (2014).
Eleven years later we recover him in this very special concert, where we can see the multitude of successes achieved by this young musician, currently being the solo oboe of the prestigious Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig.
A concert in which the figure of the French composer Joseph Maurice Ravel will be very present, as our Entre Cuerdas y Metales Competition will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth in 2025.
