Think of Wilbur
'Think of Wilbur' is a show full of acrobatics, humor, and risk, a lot of risk: the only way Wilbur knows how to live. With an extraordinary technique and physique, he will create impossible situations that will leave the audience stunned. Accompanied by his inseparable friends: Contracture, Pull and Tear, he will show us that acrobatics is not just a sport. A show that will impact the audience (literally).
Víctor Ortiz (1981, Alicante), better known as Wilbur, is a gymnast, actor and circus artist. At just five years old, he accidentally entered the world of artistic gymnastics. A specialist in floor, vault and bar apparatus, he perfected his technique until he was able to compete alongside gymnasts such as Gervasio Deferr and Oriol Combarros. At 16, he was on the verge of the CAR in Madrid, but decided to continue training, eventually becoming the Spanish acrosport champion.
While training in his native Alicante, he met the juggler 'Piti' with whom he began to perform. In fact, his stage name Wilbur came up 10 minutes before a performance in Elche, while reading advertising pamphlets. From that moment on, he decided that his life would be in the circus, becoming part of Cirque du Soleil as an acrobat.
'Piensa en Wilbur' is his first one-man show. A show that has grown over time and has brought enjoyment to thousands of spectators. In fact, thousands of them also follow him on his social networks, where he has more than 900,000 followers - between Instagram and TikTok.
