Synopsis:

In 1972, two young journalists from The Washington Post, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, begin to investigate what appears to be a simple break-in at the Democratic Party headquarters in Washington. Their discoveries trigger the so-called 'Watergate affair', which led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.
