Algameca Chica, a utopia, a reality.

I find it difficult to talk about this work in terms of a project. A cold word that is incapable of containing all the sensations and feelings that this work has awakened in me. Something similar happens to me with "town" or "settlement", they are words in which I find it impossible to accommodate a universe like La Algameca Chica.

On the other side of that mountain I found not only a picturesque place, with impossible geometries, rhythm in its elements or chromaticisms, I found a place where the pragmatic is art and naturalness becomes a foundation. I also found one of those tickets that serve to travel to another time, a high-speed journey to our childhood. The aroma of the sea, of a mattress, of a fridge.

A juggling act of reality, almost a utopia to live. That's what Algameca is like, its time, its people and its sea, friendly and unique. And I found all this on the other side of that mountain, all this is what I brought with me. In exchange, I will only have to give up a little piece of my heart.
