Local Culture: 1st Ramón Alonso Luzzy Quick Painting Competition 'City of Cartagena'. La Loma de Canteras 2026

The Loma de Canteras Residents' Association, in collaboration with the Cartagena City Council through its Department of Culture, is holding the 2026 Watercolor Competition to encourage and promote plein air painting, as well as the artistic representation of the city's landscapes, monuments, and daily life.
Professional and amateur artists residing in Spain and over 18 years of age are eligible to participate. 

The competition will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the streets, squares, and surrounding areas of Cartagena.
