Where does it take place?
The Roman Theatre is expanding its summer program with a wide range of themed tours and visits in collaboration with Cartagena Puerto de Culturas. Each day, visitors can enjoy a guided tour or a family activity, either in the morning or afternoon, and on Saturdays, there will be nighttime visits by moonlight or theatrical performances.
CITIZENS OF AN EMPIRE. Guided tour
This route offers a glimpse into the lives of the citizens of ancient Carthago Nova, visiting the Roman Museum and Theatre, the Forum Museum (home to grand public buildings such as the baths, temples, and the curia), and the House of Fortune, a complete domus adorned with paintings and mosaics. In this way, visitors will immerse themselves in the city's golden age and learn about the customs of its inhabitants.

THE TIME MACHINE. Guided tour with virtual reality.
A guided tour of the Roman Theatre Museum in Cartagena with virtual reality will allow you to immerse yourself in the ancient building through a 3D recreation displayed on tablets. You'll be able to see what the Roman theatre looked like in the 1st century, view the virtually reconstructed painted decoration of the portico, and much more. Guided tour with tablets.

CARTHAGINIANS AND ROMANS. Guided tour
The route begins at the Punic Wall built by Hasdrubal Barca and conquered by Publius Cornelius Scipio, and continues to Carthago Nova; a journey through daily life with a visit to the House of Fortune and the great entertainment building, the Roman Theatre, built in the time of Augustus and dedicated to his grandsons Gaius and Lucius.

BY JUPITER! THEATRE AND MYTHS. Family activity
The activity will introduce participants to the Roman theatre, its structure and function, as well as the myths represented in the theatre building; Juno, Jupiter, Minerva, Apollo, Mars and much more, with a fun game, the Rosco de los Mitos, the activity will end in the Roman Theatre.
Location : Roman Theatre Museum. Days : Thursdays and Saturdays in July and August. Time : 6:00 PM. Price : €4.
FROM THE THEATRE TO THE DOMUS OF THE PORTICO. Guided tour.
The route will begin at the Roman Theatre Museum and upon leaving the monument we will continue towards one of the most typical corners of the old Fishermen's Quarter, the alley of Solitude, to visit the remains preserved in the Domus of the Portico.

SCIPIO VERSUS HANNIBAL. Family activity
This family activity allows participants to learn about the most important events of the Second Punic War and its protagonists, Hannibal and Scipio, as well as one of the most emblematic buildings of the Roman city, the Roman theater, which was built during the reign of Augustus. The children will become part of a troop or a legion and celebrate the victory at the Roman Theater of Cartagena.

TIME AGENCY, CULTURAL PASSPORT. Cultural Adventure
Three active time rifts have been detected in the heart of Cartagena. Become a time agent and solve the riddles and observation challenges that will make you see the archaeological sites in a new light. Explore the Punic Wall, the Forum, and the Roman Theatre at your own pace and have fun deciphering the past, organizing maps, and breaking codes. Be sure to get your official stamp upon completing each mission to prevent history from being altered.

THE THEATER UNDER THE MOONLIGHT. Guided tour
Visitors will enjoy a nighttime tour of the most emblematic project commissioned by Augustus in ancient Carthago Nova. This exclusive and relaxed experience offers a unique opportunity to explore the Roman Theatre Museum, beginning with a guided tour for a small group. The tour delves into the key aspects of Roman civilization, culminating in a visit to the archaeological gem of the Roman Theatre under the moonlight.

AULAEUM, CURTAIN DOWN. Theatrical tour
The great Roman architect Vitruvius will offer his vision of the theater, and with him, you'll enjoy a nighttime visit to the most emblematic work commissioned by Augustus in ancient Carthago Nova. The journey culminates with the unexpected appearance of the imposing Roman Theater's seating area bathed in moonlight, where you'll encounter classical theater through the works of Plautus.
