The Department of Culture is launching advance sales today for a season pass  to the four adult-oriented performances in its autumn program at the Luzzy Cultural Center, in collaboration with the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA ). The pass allows ticket holders to purchase all four adult performances for the price of €3 (except for the family performance, which costs €4).

To reward the loyalty of our audience who attend the theater on Thursdays and to encourage new spectators, the already affordable prices will be further enhanced by offering a free performance with the purchase of a season pass for all four performances. The children's play, intended for a family audience, is excluded from the season pass.

Tickets will continue to be sold at the Luzzy box office on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM starting October 1st, and one hour before the performance (card payment only). Discounts are available at the box office for seniors (65+), with tickets priced at €4. The children's show has a family price of €4.

  • Thursday, October 15, 8 p.m. "La Guardia" by La Luz de la Verbena Company

Alberto, an emergency room doctor, is preparing for the MIR exam again, hoping to specialize in cardiology. He juggles studying with endless work shifts, leaving him exhausted and stressed. An unfortunate decision Alberto makes at a critical moment leads him to commit a serious error, sending our protagonist through a harrowing ordeal. Between shifts, between comically absurd situations and surreal, he will confront his limits, his desires, and his worst nightmares… A journey into the lives of those who live and work in the extraordinary world of emergency room shifts… so brutal, so human, so unknown.

  • Saturday, October 31, 8 p.m. `DOÑA INÉS DEL ALMA MÍA´. Ditirambo Company

An adapted version of "Don Juan Tenorio" that retains its classic character while incorporating novel elements and a more engaging approach, where the characters mingle with the audience. Based on José de Zorrilla's romantic myth, published in 1844, this specially dramatized production brings to life the sculptor of its pantheon. From the foreground, next to the audience, he recounts his vision of events in 16th-century Seville, resurrecting the voices of Doña Inés, Don Luis, Doña Brígida, and Don Juan, a libertine seducer who defies social and religious norms, making him the protagonist of a story that blends romantic, religious, and fantastical elements. The custom of staging Don Juan Tenorio around All Souls' Day is a tradition that originated in the mid-19th century, a tradition that the Cartagena City Council has maintained for over 10 years.

  • Wednesday, November 11, 8 p.m. `AMOUR´. Marie de Jongh Company

A show that invites us to reflect on the thin line that exists between unconditional love and disaffection.

Children play in the land where it all begins. They strive to discover the world, transforming their universe. They imitate adults with boldness and carefree abandon. They dare to love without knowing its true meaning. They don't hesitate to become enemies even before finding the word "hate" in their pockets. They know about smells, skin, caresses, abandonment, refuge, desire. They know nothing of time… And suddenly, more than sixty years have passed. Now, aged, they pull a multitude of words from their pockets, words that fall like withered leaves. They know about time… What they don't know is that love always gives us a chance.

  • Thursday, December 3, 8 p.m. `WE HAVE TO TEAR THE HOUSE APART' Double K Theatre

After their mother's death, Ana and Laura reunite at their parents' house to share memories, divide their nostalgia, and, while they're at it... banish a few ghosts from their past. "The House Must Be Taken Apart" speaks of love, memories, and wounds that need healing, but it does so with respect, tenderness, and generous doses of humor. In its stark contemporary relevance, the play is an exercise in nostalgia, dedicated to all of us who, from time to time, lovingly confront our memories.

  • Friday, December 18, 6:30 p.m. "Melchior's Journey" by Silfo Theatre Company. Children's and family show.

A very peculiar angel and a musician with his cello bring to life a performance that is both a concert and a storytelling piece. Through the many "magical" objects used during the performance, moments of great visual and poetic power are recreated from the chronicle of three wise men's journey following a star. Above all, it is an encounter with the audience, reminiscent of bygone eras, a way to revive the intimate and familial spirit of Christmas as if we were gathered around a fireplace reliving the most magical story of our childhood.
