Local Culture: Cultural Projects - Neighborhoods and Provincial Councils. November 2026
The cultural projects submitted by the Neighborhood Associations and the Municipal Boards of the Cartagena City Council, for inclusion in the "Culture Close to Home" program, began in April and will run until the end of 2026. These projects encompass a wide range of cultural activities and involve all types of people: children, youth, adults, and families. They include: film, popular culture, music festivals, participatory murals, opera, circus and magic shows, workshops for children, youth, adults, and families, theater, storytelling, environmental activities, concerts, traditional games, book presentations, painting competitions, rhythm workshops, solar cooking, children's theater competitions, themed parties, open mic nights, ethnographic workshops, podcasts, photography exhibitions, dry stone construction workshops, a toy swap fair, and historical talks.
The projects that will be carried out in November 2026 are the following:
- November 5: CULTURAL TOUR "THE FOUR SAINTS" CONCEPTION NEIGHBORHOOD
- November 6: NIGHT OF THE DEAD. THE PACKET
- November 7: Traditional Wooden Games. The Camachos
- November 7: FIRE SHOW. LOS DOLORES
- November 7: POCKET THEATRE. THE APPARITION
- November 7: Talk on the flora and landscapes of the Cartagena countryside. Quarries
- November 7: INTERGENERATIONAL THEATRE WORKSHOP - MODERNIST RECREATION - FAMILY FUN - BOARD GAMES, ROLE-PLAYING GAMES, AND CREATIVITY. OLD TOWN
- November 12: Wellness Talk. Quarries
- November 15: Cultural Tour "The Four Saints". Marfagones Mills
- November 20: Talk 'The Mar Menor and its Biodiversity'. Cabo Palos
- November 22: Meeting of the Working Groups. La Aljorra
- November 22: CIRCUS WORKSHOP. LA PUEBLA
- November 26: Wellness Talk. Quarries
- November 27: THEATRE "THE KNIGHT OF THE MIRRORS". EL ALBUJÓN
- November 28: THEATRE "THE GYPSY AND THE GOAT". EL ALBUJÓN
- November 29: TOY SWAP FAIR. QUARRIES
