Rafael de Utrera (Utrera, 1973) is a very personal singer, owner of an elastic silver voice with a wide register, now touched by time. As personal in voice as in repertoire, in principle alien to the singing tradition of his town.
It is not possible to summarise Rafael de Utrera's CV because the list of figures of dance and guitar, of instrumentalists, orchestras, who have called on him to illustrate the most diverse shows is impressive. But some of these figures are Paco de Lucía, Cristina Hoyos, Tomatito Joaquín Cortes, Compañía Andaluza de Danza, Dorantes, Yerbabuena, Gerardo Núñez, Manuela Carrasco… He is the permanent singer of the genius Vicente Amigo, with whom he has toured the world.
In his mature, serious and compact singing, on stage he carefully measures when and how... With Rafael de Utrera's kind and honest singing, "the grapes will fall from the vine."
Pepe Fernández. This carefree and natural French guitarist with Granada ties is already one of the favourites of his generation. The great musicality of his compositions, his touch of rhythm and his wisdom when it comes to serving singing or dancing deserve it. In 2021 he recorded his first album, Cautivao.
