San Javier Theatre Group presents 'The Journey of Forgiveness'
Barbara, a woman with alcohol problems, is the skipper of a fishing boat. When she returns from a long voyage, she finds a letter from her daughter, Anna, whom she abandoned at the home of some acquaintances when she was only a few years old. Anna had to grow up with a woman with mental problems who, together with the abandonment of her mother, marked her life. Robert, the ship's first officer, is a man with a difficult past who avoids commitments and who has a romantic relationship with the wife of the ship's owner. When Robert and Anna meet, an attraction arises between them that is difficult to avoid.
The jealousy of the shipowner's wife and the personal histories of both Anna and Robert will come between them. Only through forgiveness will a new journey be possible .
