Juan José Peñalver exhibits 'From east to west. Cartagena from the air'

The Cajamurcia Foundation Cultural Centre in Cartagena, Palacio Pedreñ o, is kicking off the autumn season with the photography exhibition 'From east to west. Cartagena from the air.'

The exhibition brings together 31 photographs by Juan Jesús Peñalver, 'Pertenero ', with which he takes a tour of the interior and the coastal strip of Cartagena : from unmistakable areas to hidden corners that he has had access to thanks to the help of a drone.

This series of aerial photographs of the municipality of Cartagena aims to show a privileged environment and enclaves of great scenic wealth, but, as the author of the images points out, they also aim to highlight the excesses that have occurred in certain areas, document the abandonment of places of great historical value and raise awareness about the importance of protecting natural resources.
