Imagine Cartagena

A few years ago , someone imagined a tribute to a city. He called on anyone who wanted
to contribute something, with a slogan: “it's about Cartagena.” And the response was unanimous, “
Yes, count on me.”

After a long road of vicissitudes, the Most Excellent City Council of Cartagena
has made that collective dream come true, which is now materialized in the book:

 

"IMAGINE CARTAGENA"

It will be presented on October 10, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at the
City Hall, at the same time as the inauguration of the exhibition of the same name, featuring the
works of 39 visual artists.

They have brought together the effort, enthusiasm and talent of chroniclers, historians,
archaeologists, researchers, writers, heritage protection associations
and visual artists under a common thread that runs through the centuries and has a single
meaning, although many names:

Mastia, Qart Hadasht, Cartago Nova…Cartagena
