 'Dear Three Wise Men'

The Dora Catarineu Hall, located on Ronda street in Cartagena, is hosting this Christmas the exhibition "Dear Three Wise Men", organised by the Cartagena Nativity Scene Association with the support of the City Council. The Councillor for Culture, Ignacio Jáudenes, was present today at the inauguration of this exhibition, which is free to the public and is open until 12 January.

The exhibition recounts the biblical story of the Three Wise Men, according to the account of the evangelist Matthew, through more than 50 Cavalcade and Adoration games and 7 dioramas depicting key scenes: such as the discovery of the star, the visit to King Herod, the following of the star, the adoration in the manger and the Magical Night .

The exhibition is part of the  Cartagena City Council's Christmas programme.  It offers a unique view of these Nativity characters, with figures of different types, materials and origins, allowing the public to explore the popular tradition that has shaped the collective imagination about Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar. The exhibition is open to the public during these holidays, providing an opportunity to enjoy the history and magic of the Three Wise Men.
