This Wednesday, January 22, at 9:30 p.m., Calare opens the new 2025 edition of our Creators Cycle, a cycle organized by Por Amor al Arte Cartagena thanks to the sponsorship of the Cartagena City Council and Mister Witt Café. It will be an unmissable event for those looking to immerse themselves in authentic and captivating musical proposals.

CALARE is a band formed by four young twenty-somethings, Javier Manteca, Alejandro Barceló, Cecilia Pérez-Cuadrado and Arturo del Castillo, which emerged in the spring of 2022, recording their first demos in a modest rehearsal space in Cartagena

Their musical approach draws on American emo and pop punk from the 2010s, styles that have rarely been explored in Spanish. Their lyrics, full of sincerity and emotion, are intertwined with powerful and forceful instrumentals 
, but at the same time delicate and melodic.

After having recorded their first songs in an austere venue in the city, on January 31 they will release their second EP, "Euforia", produced by A. Lynx and mixed and mastered by Miguel Alcázar.

 And that's not all! This season, each concert will be opened with the participation of new local talents. On this occasion, Mun will be the star of the opening, presenting in acoustic format and on the piano some of the songs that will be part of his next project: AIVI.

This is a newly born musical proposal, created by Mun and Berto on drums, two artists from Cartagena who have united their talents with the desire to share their music in an authentic and close way. 

Although this time we will hear Mun alone, his performance promises to be an intimate and special preview of what this duo has in store: an experience full of emotions and nuances.

Influenced by bands like Twenty One Pilots, but with their own style that emerges from what they feel in each composition, AIVI is committed to a direct connection with the public. Perhaps, in this search for meaning and sound, they will succeed in helping someone else find a refuge or new inspiration in their music.
