CARTAGENA THINKS: SEO/BirdLife CYCLE. SUSANA NOGUERA HERNÁNDEZ `CITIZEN SCIENCE: HOW AND WHY TO RECORD YOUR BIRD OBSERVATIONS ON EBIRD´

At SEO BirdLife Mar Menor, we believe it is essential to promote knowledge of birds and their habitat, especially in a territory as valuable as the Mar Menor and its surrounding area. Through this series of three talks and their corresponding field trips, we aim to bring ornithology closer to the general public, foster respect for biodiversity, and encourage citizens to actively participate in its conservation.

Susana Noguera Hernández   is a secondary school teacher and naturalist with a great passion for birds. For years she has collaborated on bird censuses within and outside the Region of Murcia; studies that allow us to understand the status and evolution of bird populations and establish conservation measures. She is a reviewer for the Region of Murcia and a member of the eBird coordination team.
