CARTAGENA THINKS: SEO/BirdLife CYCLE. LUCÍA CÓRDOBA PRIETO `SMALL BODIES OF WATER IN THE “CHUECOS PROJECT”´

At SEO BirdLife Mar Menor, we believe it is essential to promote knowledge of birds and their habitat, especially in a territory as valuable as the Mar Menor and its surrounding area. Through this series of three talks and their corresponding field trips, we aim to bring ornithology closer to the general public, foster respect for biodiversity, and encourage citizens to actively participate in its conservation.

Lucía Córdoba Prieto is a predoctoral researcher in the Department of Ecology and Hydrology at the University of Murcia, affiliated with the ECOMED laboratory. She is an ecologist specializing in communication and environmental education, and holds a Master's degree in Protected Areas, Natural Resources, and Biodiversity.
